Ārpus x Adroit Theory – Devil’s Dram Vanilla x Earl Grey Wheatwine

For this transatlantic collaboration we went for a rather untypical beer style – wheatwine – which, as the name suggests, is a strong ale with lots of wheat in its grain bill. We added Earl Grey tea to balance the wheatwine sweetness with bittering tannins of the black tea and add complexity coming from the oil of bergamot. A touch of vanilla helps to bring all those beautiful flavours together in this bold brew.
